Phrase I never thought I'd say: "I live in the coldest place on earth". That's right, Chicago hit a record breaking low a couple of days ago of -45 with windchill. Is this a sick joke?? I have been reminiscing of times when we ate dinner outside in Austin during January and February and longing for a beach somewhere. We will get through this....
...by staying inside under the covers.
Earlier in Jan, the Schulz crew took New York City! Kyle's parents have been trading in Christmas gifts for fun experiences which we all prefer and look forward to each year. This year, we got to go see Aaron Sorkin's rendition of "To Kill a Mockingbird" on Broadway. OH. MY. GOD! It was incredible.
We visited the Google office, saw the Statue of Liberty, visited Carrie Bradshaw's stoop, walked through Central Park and so much more! It was an incredible trip and I loved every second. (minus the part the fire alarm went off in our hotel at 3am).
Rizz update: He/She is growing like crazy! I can't believe I'm more than half way done growing this human! We can't wait to meet ya, Rizz!
Stay warm out there!!
